Proteomics of genetic diversity in relation to tomato fruit quality
The proteome of 20 tomato accessions (19 Solanum lycopersicum and one accession of Solanum pimpinellifolium) was investigated. This small collection represented the overall existing fruit size variation (from few grams to 500g). The fruits were sampled at red ripe stage and total protein extraction was performed. Proteins were then separated using two dimensional gel electrophoresis (IEF/SDS-PAGE).

NILs - Fruit texture gel browser
The project is dedicated to the research of tomato fruit pericarp proteome variations in relation to fruit texture parameters. It is based on the analysis of pericarp proteins from 4 genotypes (Levovil, Lx, VilB and Bx) contrasted for their texture phenotypes. Total proteins were extracted from pericarp tissue at two relevant developmental stages (cell expansion 14dpa, and red ripe stage). Two dimensional electrophoresis was performed and protein spots were identified by MS/MS mass spectrometry.

NILs LEVOVIL gel browser
The project is dedicated to the research of QTL introgression effect on tomato fruit pericarp proteome. It is based on the comparison of proteome from the Levovil variety with the proteomes of 4 different lines obtained by SAM introgression of Cervil fruit quality QTL alleles within Levovil genetic background. Total proteins were extracted from pericarp tissue of 5 genotypes at two relevant developmental stages (cell expansion 14dpa, and red ripe stage). Two dimensional electrophoresis was performed and protein spots were identified by MS/MS mass spectrometry.

Storage gel browser
The project is dedicated to the study of the effect of storage duration and temperature (10 days, 20°C and 20 days 4°C) on the fruit proteome of two near isogenic lines (VilB,NIL-B9A) contrasted for texture firmness at harvest.

Tomato fruit development gel browser
The project is dedicated to the analysis of the main fruit proteome variation during tomato development and ripening. The studied variety was Cervil. Total proteins were extracted from pericarp tissue at six relevant developmental stages (7dpa, 14dpa, 21dpa, 30dpa, breaker, red). Two dimensional electrophoresis was performed, protein spots were identified by MALDI-TOF and MS/MS mass spectrometry.

Vitamin C 2007 gel browser
The project is dedicated to the caracterisation of tomato fruit protein networks affected in RNAi transformed plants for some genes of the vitamin C biosynthesis (GME, GalDH) or recycling pathways (AO, MDHAR). The fruit proteome of the wild type cherry tomato WVA106 has been compared to the fruit proteome of transformed plants.
Two stages of fruit development were investigated : 20 days after pollination and orange stages.
Two-dimensional electrophoresis was performed (4-7 and 6-11 pI ranges) and protein spots were identified by MS/MS mass spectrometry.
